The delegation, comprised of elders and businessmen, met with Mudug Governor Mohamed Yusuf Jama, Galkayo Mayor Ahmed Ali Salaad and members of the Galkayo city council to discuss continued co-operation in the formation of the new region.

"They had very productive discussions with Galkayo intellectuals, businessmen, women and regional officials and they were pleased with the warm welcome and the support that people of Puntland are willing to contribute to Jubbaland," Jama said.
