Angola: National Assembly Schedules 5th Plenary Meeting for March

Luanda — The National Assembly scheduled for March 21, in Luanda, its 5th ordinary plenary meeting, during last Thursday's session which approved the 2013 State's General Budget, with 155 votes in favour, 38 against and five abstentions.

Speaking at a press conference in the end of the session, the first secretary of the National Assembly's meetings, Emília Carlota Dias, highlighted the fact that the MPs also approved a Report on the State's

General Budget.

The Report on the General Budget has several recommendations to the Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, in his capacity as the head of the Executive, aimed for different sections of the country's economic and social life.

The National Assembly (Angolan Parliament) Thursday in Luanda approved the 2013 State Budget with revenues and expenditures estimated at over six 6.6 trillion Kwanzas.
