Namibia: New Road Graders for RCC

The Road Construction Company this week received nine new road graders from Barloworld equipment. The graders cost N$15 million.

Chief Executive Officer at Road Construction Company Engehard Haimambo expressed his gratitude for the graders and said that the RCC will have further acquisitions of construction equipment. "The RCC is indeed rejuvenating its fleet so that, as a major contractor in Namibia we will continue to have reliable equipment to execute various projects across Namibia in the civil engineering infrastructure rehabilitation and construction industry."

The RCC currently has 80 graders and the nine will replace some of the worn out graders and will be used for gravel roads maintainance. The nine graders make up a consignment of 13 graders from Barloworld Equipment, the remaining graders are expected to be delivered at the end of this month.
