Zambia: TYZ Valentines Grand Finale Tonight!

AFTER almost a year of serious search for Zambia's finest talent in the Zambia's first ever talent search reality show Talent Yapa Zed (TYZ), the highly anticipated grand finale comes to the fore tonight at Lusaka's Mulungushi international conference centre.

Executive Producer of TYZ Lawrence Thompson confesses that it has not been an easy road to the finale more especially financially but that the zeal and determination by his team has made it to this end.

"I am happy that we have reached the end of the first season of TYZ though we had numerous challenges which have given ideas on how to tackle season two... this will be annual event and we believe that season two will be great," he says

Yes, there could have been hills and valleys to pass through but all that does not matter now as the contestants and their fan base have drifted their attention towards the K100 million ( KR100,000)!

Who is getting the glory and the life-changing cash prize tonight? This is a question whose answer will be revealed after a romantic-like dinner tonight.

One wonders if the dinner will even make sense to the contestants whose hearts are literally in their palms by now.

Who has voted for them and who has not?

Suspense, anxiety, fear and emotions, will grip these contending youths tonight though the pressure is likely to be eased by the well-liked Zambian music sensation Macky 2 and the most happening gospel music star Pompi.

Who will walk away life a life changed tonight?

Top 12 hopefuls from the five participating provinces have been selected and billed to compete for this grand prize.

Now the final 12 are: Lusaka has Mwita and Jophael, Jasper Phiri, Prodigy and Tiwah Phiri. Kitwe brings in Hendrix Hanyama and Todd Sealy. Mongu will go with Joackim Chongo and Nawa Mwanamuka, Chipata has Seka theater group and Brandly Stephenson.

The battle ground of talents has been set with massive and alluring drama and amazing talent display in perspective tonight.

It's Song, Dance, acting, poetry name it, at play tonight.
