A man in Gatundu has been charged with defiling one-year-old child girl. Samuel Wangui, 30, is said to have committed the offence on February 3 at Ichaweri village.
Prosecutor Kunga Muli told the court that the child's grandmother discovered that she had been defiled.She took the child to Gatundu district hospital where she was treated.
He was remanded after he denied the charge before Gatundu Resident Magistrate D M Ndungi.The case will be heard on March 27.
