The week of love and the big debate and, believe it or not, even political foes showed love for each other live on TV on Monday night. Amen to that!

Last Friday I left work straight for the Brew Bistro on Ngong Road and the place was packed to the rafters. I left the Brew Bistro at 3am for SkyLuxx and all I can say Friday night was too short.

It's like I was robbed of three hours of my night. But again whisky and tequila tend to play tricks on your mind when you have one, two, many.

On Saturday it was my boy Joshua Sagini's birthday. So Mr Sagini organised six mbuzis at his palatial home in Karen and, of course, all the Barutaz had to present themselves for inspection.

After the BBQ at the Saginis, I was invited to Gallileo by Bigboss Madrid, landed well past 3am but amazingly we sipped five bottles of single-malt whisky in less than four hours.

On Sunday I was man down but still managed to board the mothership at Sailors with Dj Nijjo. That adventure proved too costly because on Monday I was damaged beyond repair.

On Tuesday, I found myself at K1 for the big-bebate postmortem and I should say it went down pretty well because I was getting home around 4am just as my watchman was getting ready to skive off.

Did you know your watchman leaves work two hours early!

Wednesday I had a movie date with BigMama at the Junction so automatically I found myself drinking at Mercury Junction. The good thing about drinking at any of the Mercury is the fact that when you decide to go home you do exactly that because the damage on your wallet is so severe you can't afford to bar-hop.

Last night I was at #Team100 hanging out with the university students and most drinks were going for 100 bob. I realised that last night after hanging out at Psys for the last many years.

Tonight and basically this weekend I'm a free agent so anything goes. Catch me if you can on twitter@shaffieweru or www.shaffieweru.com. Stay safe and eat the campaign money, ready to chapa fimbo come March 4.
