Kenya: Lapsset Project in Trouble - Update

President Kibaki is due to officiate the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of the first 3 berths to be put at the Lamu port in ten days, but that exercise may just be thwarted.

Communities along the LAPSSET project want the process stopped until the government addresses their environmental and social concerns.
