Kenya: Church Hosts Running Mates On Live TV Debate

The eight presidential running mates were yesterday engaged in a live debate organised by churches. The eight addressed a myriad of issues including the policies their parties will implement if they win the March 4 elections.

Those who attended the debate were Kalonzo Musyoka (Cord) William Ruto (Jubilee) Ronnie Osumba (Eagle Alliance) Jeremiah Kioni (Amani Coalition), Augustine Lotodo (Narc Kenya) Winnie Kaburu (RBK), Joshua Onono (Alliance for Real Change) and Shem Ochuodho (Safina).

The debate, held at the All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi, was organised by Church leaders, Christian media, the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation and Daystar University.
