The government has warned parents in Butere against keeping their disabled children home instead of sending them to school.
Butere District Children Officer Dishon Otuko said many parents hide their disabled children at home because they consider them a burden.
Otuko was speaking during a ceremony to donate clothes and beddings to destitute children by the Bushe Community.
