Kenya: Great Plans for Narok

Narok County governor aspirant Joseph Tiampati has promised to put in place measures to ensure the County is able to produce enough food for local consumption and for sale to the other counties.

Tiampati who was speaking at Enoosaen in Trans Mara when he attended the official launch of John Kiptikoi's campaign for the Keyian County assembly seat said that Narok was blessed with huge tracts of fertile land which need to be well utilized.

The aspirant said he will ensure factories to process wheat and maize flour products are set up in the county to create job opportunities.Tiampati said he will ensure the county has a branch of Kenya Meat Commission so locals can have their cattle, sheep and goats slaughtered and processed before the meat products are taken to other parts of the country.

The aspirant said Agriculture will be given highest priority in his administration.
