Eritrea: Qatar Diaspora Ranks First At Cultural, Tourism Fair

Asmara — The Eritrean community in Qatar has ranked first at a Cultural and Tourism Fair conducted in the country in which more than 40 communities from various countries took part.

Reports indicated that the Eritrean community members staged various exhibitions that depicted the diversity of cultures and resources in the Homeland.

Meanwhile, the Eritrean community won the first rank in inter-community sports contest which was organized in connection with the Qatari Sports Day on February 12.

The Eritrean community received award from the Qatari Deputy Foreign Minister and the Eritrean Ambassador to Qatar, Mr. Ali Ibrahim Ahmed. It is to be recalled that the Eritrean community had stood first at a similar tournament conducted last year.
