Eritrea: Hospital in Awha Rendering Commendable Service - Community

Adi-Quala — The inhabitants of Adi-Quala sub-zone said that the community hospital in Awha village which got functional last year is rendering commendable service.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Mengisteab Tesfu, Mr. Tsegai Habtegabir, Ms. Wudase Gebreamlak and Ms. Mihret Mehari expressed conviction that their livelihood has significantly been improved in line with availability of improved medical facility, and commended the commitment of the medical personnel.

Mr. Tesfamariam Semereab, head of the community hospital, explained that it rendering laboratory, VCT, maternity, community sensitization and other services to the inhabitants of Adi-Shiretai, Fiqya-Cheqemte, Adi-Mekeda, Mayinhayug and other Administrative areas.

The hospital is serving an average of 75 patients on daily basis, according to reports.
