The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is set to restructure the National female football team, Super Falcons, the Federation's Chairman of Media Committee, Emeka Inyama has revealed.
Inyama made this known at a Press Conference inside the conference hall of the NFF secretariat, Abuja on Thursday.
"You are all aware that there is an urgent need to empanel a new technical crew for the Super Falcons and also overhaul the squad.
"A new technical crew will be put in place to overhaul the team and prepare for the qualifying series for the 2015 FIFA Women World Cup finals, which will take place in Canada", Inyama said.
The former head coach, Kadiri Ikhana resigned after leading the Falcons to their worst outing at the Nations Cup last year and he has not been replaced since then.
But the NFF Media Committee chairman assured that: "We are determined to arrest the decline of this team, following the below-par third place finish in Equatoral Guinea last year."
Before the Women's World Cup in Canada, the team will play in the African Women Championship in 2014.
