Luanda — A delegation of the US African Command (Aficom), led by the General Patrick Donahye, ended its three-day visit, that aimed at discussing matters related to the reinforce of the bilateral co-operation, Angop has learnt.
In Angola, the team met with the commander of the land forces, General Lúcio do Amaral, with whom they debated aspects related to the engineering military training.
According to Patrick Donahye, the meeting also aimed at knowing some concerns of this branch of the Angolan Armed Forces in what is necessary.
The visiting General also said that there is a joint programme to be implemented between the armies of Angola and of the US that aims at reducing the level of some illnesses within the population all over the country.
