Luanda — The third preparation course for the pilot census will take place on 18- 21 February.
This is expressed in press release issued by the Central Bureau of Peaple and Housing Census (GCRPH-2014).
The course will count on participation of 40 trainees, including technicians from Technical Committee of the Central Office, the National Statistics Institute (INE).
Representatives of the provincial offices of the National Institute of Statistics (SPINE), placed in seven provinces selected for the holding of pilot census (Luanda, Cunene, Huambo, Kuando Kubango, Kwanza Norte, Uige and Namibe), will also join the training.
The training aims to standardize and deepen the knowledge related to the preparation process, review of documents of support and collection tools to be used in the census, questionnaires, maps, cartographic, chips and preliminary forms.
The census will help determine exactly the structure of the Angolan population and workforce, its geographical distribution and priority investment areas.
