Rwanda: Junior V-Ball Team Regroups

Junior Volleyball national team (U20) will regroup on Sunday to start preparations ahead of the year 2013 Men's CAVB Championships, scheduled for February 28-March 9 in Tunisia.

The team started residential training camp, last week, at the National University of Rwanda in the Southern Province, but will soon shift in Kigali City to continue the preparations. They will be staying at Hill Top Hotel until February 23 when they fly out to Tunisia.

According to the Rwanda Volleyball Federation Executive Secretary, Gertrude Kubwimana, the squad was taken to Huye in the first place because Amahoro Indoor Stadium is being used by the East African Festival, which ends on Sunday.

The team is under the guidance of former Kenyan international player Paul Bitok.
