Angola: Over 80 Health Units Built in 2012

Sumbe — Eighty-five health facilities were built last year in the coastal province of Kwanza Sul, under the Municipal Integrated Programme of Rural Development and Poverty Fight (PMIDRCP).

This is expressed in a report distributed to Angop.

According to the 2013 action programme of PMIDRCP, in addition to the construction of health facilities, the region also benefited from construction of 24 residences to accommodate doctors and nurses.

On the other hand, eight ambulances and 115 motorcycles have been acquired to support the health community agents.
