Angola: Musicians Enliven Opening Ceremony of Havana Book Fair

Havana — Angolan singers Gabriel Tchiema and Duo Canhoto Thursday in Morro de La Cabanha, Cuba, enlivened the opening ceremony of the XXII edition of International Book Fair of Havana.

The first to show up was the Duo Canhoto, who played the theme "Tata Kumatadi" original Tonito, meant give special welcome to the Angolan delegation in the condition of guest country of honour at this magnum cultural event.

In his turn, the singer Gabriel Tchiema came to the stage at night of interaction between political speeches and entertainment, with his traditional language chockwe, on the theme "Tamboca."

The fair going from 14 to 24 February marks the 160 years of nationalist José Marti.
