Zimbabwe: De Jonge On Top

ZIMBABWE'S Brendon de Jonge is in a good position in the Northern Trust Open at the Riviera Country Club in his latest US PGA tour event. De Jonge has not missed the cut in all the five tournaments he has taken part in this season.

The Zimbabwean ace had a good start on Thursday finishing on level-par-71 after the first round.

He went into the second round late yesterday lying in 48th place.

De Jonge looks set to get his breakthrough tour win on the US PGA tour this year and has already finished fourth this season.

He has already earned US$347,564 this year and is making his presence felt on the FeDex Cup points table.
