Nigeria: Celebrating Eagle Lands in Hot Water

It has been confirmed that Super Eagles midfielder, Nosa Emmanuel Igiebor will be heavily fined by his Spanish club, Real Betis, when he finally shows up at the team training ground.

The former Warri Wolves midfielder will be in hot water, after he failed to return from African Cup of Nations duty.

The 22-year-old was part of the Nigeria squad that triumphed in South Africa on Sunday, but the attacker has, according to reports, stayed back in Nigeria to attend various celebration ceremonies in his honour, rather than return to his club, reports futaa.com.

Pepe Mel, the manager of Betis, was expecting Nosa to be available for the game against Espanyol this weekend, and his continuous absence is likely to lead to a heavy fine from the Verdiblancos.
