Africa: CAF Club Competitions Kick Off

JSM Béjaia host Niger's Olympic FC on Friday (February 15th) in the first leg of the 2013 Orange CAF Champions League preliminary round. CA Bizertin also play Libya's Al Ittihad on Friday. The Tunisian side were slated to host the match before it was moved for security reasons to Rades.

In other Champions League clashes Friday, Moghreb Tetouan host Senegal's Casa Sport of Senegal and FUS Rabat welcome Gambia's Real Banjul.

Esperance Tunis and ES Setif are exempt from the preliminary round.

The first leg of the 2013 Orange CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round also starts at the weekend. Benghazi-based Al-Nasr will host Sudanese side Al Watani.

AS FAR, Wydad Casablanca, USM Alger, CS Sfaxien and Etoile du Sahel received byes into the next round.
