Egypt: Anti-Mursi Protesters March to Qubba Presidential Palace

Scores of protesters on Friday organised several marches headed to al-Qubba presidential palace to demonstrate against President Mohamed Mursi and the Muslim Brotherhood.

The protesters chanted anti-Mursi and Brotherhood slogans as they marched.

Today's protests which are held under the title "Checkmate Friday" are organised by a number of youth movements.

The marches took off from different mosques such as al-Nour Mosque in Abbasiya and al-Matarawi Mosque in Matariya, the state news agency reported.
