Egypt: Witness - Fire Erupts in Gharbiya School Amid Scuffles

A fire broke out on Friday in al-Muslim al-Sagheer School in Gharbiya amid clashes between Muslim Brotherhood members and their opponents, an Aswat Masriya eyewitness reported.

A number of the Brotherhood members kidnapped four demonstrators and held them hostage inside the school building for chanting slogans against President Mohamed Mursi and the brotherhood.

Scuffles erupted between the two parties and several protesters torched the school's computer lab.

Thousands participated today in Gharbiya in protests agaisnt Mursi and the Brotherhood.
