Egypt: Presidential Decree to Construct Two Cities in Sinai, Alamein

Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi will issue soon a decree to establish two new cities in central Sinai and northern coast city of Alamein. Advisor to Housing Minister Counselor Lotfy Adel said that the construction is part of the first phase of the new strategic plans for urban development that will end in 2017 and which will witness the construction of new 42 cities.

Adel pointed out that tenders will be presented soon for both public and private construction companies for the implementation of the two projects after finalizing the demarcation of the new cities and allocating their sites.
