Egypt: 6.5 Billion Treasury-Bills Auctioned

The Finance Ministry on Thursday 14/02/2013 auctioned 182-day and 357-day treasury bills at a total value of 6.5 billion pounds.

In an online statement, the ministry said the average yield on the 182-day T-bills was 13.419%, adding it accepted bids at rates between 13.001% and 13.491%.

As for the 357-day T-bills, they achieved average revenue of 14.003%, the ministry said, adding it accepted bids at rates between 13.75% and 14.05%.

The Central Bank of Egypt auctions T-bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry.
