South African pop diva Zahara has not only fallen in love with Zimbabwean music lovers but she is also relishing the country's fashion designs.

She made three trips to Zimbabwe last year and next month she is expected to perform in the country again.

Besides getting overwhelming responses from her local fans, the youthful songstress sampled Zimbabwe's fashion designs when Bulawayo-based fashion designer, Sidumiso Tshuma, made her a jacket last December.

Tshuma presented Zahara with an exquisite jacket during the musician's December tour of the country when she performed at the Victoria Falls Carnival.

The fashion designer, who is behind a label called Shadow by Sidumiso, said he was proud to design for Zahara.

"She liked the jacket I designed for her so much and we even did a photo shoot. It was so fascinating and I am prepared to do more designs for her," said Tshuma.

Tshuma said fashion was his passion and he aimed at dressing local and international celebrities.

He said his label has also designed outfits for Miss Earth Zimbabwe 2012 for her finals in Phillipines and global activist Precious Simba who received a Goldman Sachs/Fortune Global women leader's award in California, US.

Meanwhile, Zahara is set to share the stage with Oliver Mtukudzi and Alexio Kawara at the Harare International Conference Centre on March 8.

The show, which is being organised by Ghetto Fabulous Promotions and Cellone Electronics, is expected to draw young and mature music lovers.

At a press conference in Harare last year, Zahara saluted Mtukudzi as one of her favourite musicians and next month she will have a chance to do a song or two with the superstar on stage.

A Cellone Electronics official said they were looking forward to a good show.

"Besides enjoying music, fans will have a chance to win various prizes that will be on offer. We will give away many of our products as a way of honouring the fans' support for the musicians. We encourage fans to come in their numbers for a fun-filled night," he said.
