Angola: Luanda's 2013 Carnival Winners Get Prizes

Luanda — The winners of Luanda's 2013 carnival received on Saturday here the monetary prizes of their respective victories, Angop has learnt.

During the ceremony, the catergory A's groups of União Njinga Mbandi, União Mundo da Ilha, União Sagrada Esperança, União Operário Kabocomeu and União Kiela received AKZ 3.0 million, AKZ 2.0 million, AKZ 1.2 million, AKZ 1.0 million and AKZ 800.000, respectively.

In class B, União Giza, União Povo da Samba, União Amazonas do Prenda, União Geração Sagrada were awarded AKZ 1.5 million, AKZ 1.0 million, AKZ 600.000, AKZ 500.000 and AKZ 400.000, respectively.

In children category, União Cassules received AKZ 1.0 million, the Cassules Jovens da Cacimba got AKZ 700.000, Cassules Jovens do Sagrada Esperança received AKZ 500.000, Cassules Amazonas do Prenda got AKZ 350.000 and Cassules do 10 de Dezembro received AKZ 250,000.
