Ermias Amelga has been released after securing his bond.
The real estate mogul was released on Friday evening, February 15, 2013, after being held in custody at the Kirkos District Police Station since Thursday evening on allegations of writing bad checks.
He returned from travel in Djibouti before he was summoned to the police station.
Ermias has not been available for comment since his release.
