Girls aged between 9 to13 years will soon be vaccinated against cervical cancer. The initiative by the public health ministry and the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization targets school going girls who haven't had their first sexual encounter. It will be rolled out through the ministry's existing national immunization program.
