Rwanda: Kagame, Sassou-Nguesso to Hold Talks

Rwandan President Paul Kagame (pictured) has described the relationship between his country and the Republic of Congo as good (file photo).

President Paul Kagame arrived in Oyo, the hometown of Congo Brazzaville's President Denis Sassou-Nguesso, on Saturday.

According to a statement from the President's Office, during the two-day visit, President Kagame will hold private talks with President Sassou-Nguesso and tour the town of Oyo, located in the north of Brazzaville.

Bilateral relations between Rwanda and the Republic of Congo have grown in recent years and now include economic and trade partnerships of Rwandan and Congolese businesses.
