Eritrea: Awareness of People in Gash-Barka Region Aimed At Reinforcing Participation in Development Programs Registers Promising Results

Barentu — Endeavors to increase awareness of people in general and public servants in particular in Gash-Barka region aimed at reinforcing participation in development programs expressed registering promising results.

In a meeting conducted to assess activities of PFDJ in the region Mr. Rezene Adonai, Secretary of PFDJ in the region, reminded associations to strengthen their organization and diligently engage in soil and water conservation, reforestation, maintaining roads as well as environmental protection and commended the participation of inhabitants of the region in development programs and popular resistance.

Likewise, Mr. Mohammed Hamid, Administrator of the region, called on public servants and cadres assigned in the region to become exemplary to fellow workers and tirelessly work to reinforce unity.

Participants on their part expressed resolve to underpin participation for the success of development programs in the region.
