Kenya: Jubilee to Woo Voters in Taveta

The Jubilee presidential campaign team will this weekend pitch camp in Coast province in search of votes. Uhuru Kenyatta and his running mate William Ruto will carry out the two-day campaign rallies at Taita Taveta, Kwale, Kilifi and Lamu Counties.

Today, they will address rallies in Wundanyi, Lunga Lunga, Kwale and Malindi town.On Sunday, Uhuru and Ruto will campaign in Mpeketoni at 10am and Lamu town in the afternoon.

Uhuru's campaign tour of Taita Taveta county follows a recent announcement by Public Health minister Beth Mugo that the Kenyatta family has donated 4,000 acres of their Gicheha farm in Taveta to settle squatters.
