Kenya: NCIC to Hold Roadshows in Rift Valley Ahead of Poll

The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) will carry out peace road shows in parts of Rift Valley hot spots ahead of the elections. The road shows are aimed at sensitising residents on the need to maintain peace during the polls. The process will kick off in Naivasha

NCIC Vice Chairperson Milly Lwanga has also said they had issued warnings to 30 church leaders and politicians suspected to be propagating hate speech at public meetings. She says the individuals had been issued with notices to indicate that the clerics were being monitored by the commission.
