Rwanda: AS Kigali Moves Into Fourth Place

AS Kigali moved into fourth position after playing a 1-all draw against Etincelles at Stade de Kigali yesterday in the Primus National Football League.

The Kigali city-sponsored club has dethroned Kiyovu off the slot with 29 points and a superior goal difference over the old giants.

La Jeunesse heaped more misery on Isonga after earning a 1-0 win at Mumena turf while Espoir secured a 2-1 win over Musanze in Rusizi.

Amagaju and AS Muhanga settled for a goalless draw as Kiyovu suffered a 1-2 loss to Marines in Rubavu.

The day's action left Isonga at the bottom of the league standings with 12 points, two points behind Etincelles.

Nothing changed at the top of the table as Rayon Sport's fixture against Police was postponed to February 27 due to the latter's continental club commitments.

The league continues on Wednesday with defending champions APR playing away to hosts Mukura at Kamena grounds. The champions are third with 32 points in 17 matches.
