With 2015 lurking around the corner, coupled with the unprecedented security challenges, tribal and religious conflicts bedeviling the northern region, many socio-political associations are daily springing up with the self imposed mission of restoring and protecting the region's social, economic and political interests.
It is indisputable fact that since 1999 after the restoration of democracy in the country, the North has been steadily isolating itself politically, economically, socially and in other spheres of human life, a situation that throw up several groups and associations aimed at reversing the ugly trend.
