A 20-year-old mother was arraigned before a Thika court charged with assaulting another woman. Elizabeth Wanjiku Wairimu appeared before acting senior principal magistrate Wesley Cheruiyot.
The prosecutor, chief inspector Kenneth Kiruai, said the accused committed the offence on February 3 at Kamahuha, in Murang'a county.Kiruai said Wairimu willfully and unlawfully assaulted Lydia Wanjiku Murigi and caused her actual bodily harm.
Hearing was set for April 5.
