Even as we celebrate our country's inaugural presidential debate, I have been reflecting on the extent of values it may have added to help voters identify the best successor to Kibaki.
It is one thing to debate well and it is another to provide valuable patriotic leadership to a nation in dire need for progressive motion. My contention is that the best debater is not always the best leader.
