Al-Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el-Tayyeb has affirmed anew Al-Azhar's readiness to support all initiatives that realize national reconciliation.
The remarks were made during a meeting with a delegation of Egypt's tribal chieftains to review the tribes' initiative to probe ways to get out of the current crisis Egypt is passing through.
The delegation's members said that Egypt is in need of holding a transparent dialogue between all stakeholders in this critical stage.
