The Presidency thanked Spokesman Yasser Ali for his distinguished performance during the past period.
Ali will remain in office as a Presidential Spokesman until the end of the month, the Presidency said in a statement.
It congratulated him on his new post as Chairman of the Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center.
Ali said that the Presidency will appoint a media team including a number of spokesmen to ensure a greater communication between the Presidency and the media.
