Egypt Will Never Tolerate Monopoly of Ports' Services - Official

General Coordinator of Suez Canal Development Project Walid Abd El-Ghaffar has said that a tender document is to be submitted for constructing a new container terminal at Ein El-Sokhna Port.

The official also said that the project will focus on international investors, opposing, however, a monopoly of services either by Egyptian or foreign investors.

He disclosed a plan for completing infrastructure in the area, upgrading Al-Adabeya Port, as well as re-operating Port Tawfik-Jeddah maritime route.
