Egypt: Three More Months for Renaissance Dam Tripartite Committee

Eastern Nile countries "Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia" decided to extend three months more for Renaissance Dam Tripartite Committee to give it enough time to complete its studies, review new research presented by the Ethiopian government and give final scientific and technical recommendations to issue needed decisions for the three countries to maintain cooperation, this was announced by Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Mohamed Bahaa el-Din on Saturday 16/2/2013.

The minister added that Roseires Sudanees Committee Meeting, which is to be held on 25-28 February 2013 will discuss Egypt, Sudan and international experts observations on the Ethiopian technical studies, receive studies requested from Ethiopia and review mathematical model specifications, which includes Nile Basin and main Nile water course from Khartoum to Aswan.
