Angola: Priest Comments On Pope's Resignation

Ndalatando — The Vicar of Kwanza-Norte catholic church, priest Bernardo Duchen, on Sunday here characterised the attitude of Pope Benedict XVI as a great show of faith, humility and confidence to the church, Angop has learnt.

During his homily at Cathedral, Priest Bernardo Dychen, considered the decision to be an attitude prepared for the divine providence, calling the believers to keep serene and united in prayers towards the cohesion of the church.

He said that the Pope's resignation may be caused by the fact that he accompanied the most difficult moments experienced by his predecessor, who was affected many times by illnesses and anguish, due to his health condition.
