Angola: Family State Secretary Attends Meeting in Switzerland

Geneva — The State Secretary for Family and Woman Promotion, Ana Paula Sacramento, arrived on Saturday in Geneva, Switzerland, where she will participate in the 54th session of the committee for elimination of all manners of discrimination against women, Angop has learnt.

During the meeting, Angola will defend on Wednesday its sixth periodic report on the state position with regard to the implementation of the women's rights.

The report will be analysed by the 23 members of the mentioned committee, with highlight to the chairwoman and speaker for the analysis to Angola, Nicole Ameline.

This is a regular, normal and a periodic procedure of the UN committee about the member countries that signed this convention.
