Angola: MPLA Launches Political Agenda in Cunene

Ondjiva — The political agenda of the ruling MPLA for 2013 was launched on Saturday in Ondjiva, capital city of the southern Cunene province, in an act chaired by the party's Vice President, Roberto Victor de Almeida, Angop has learnt.

The act aimed at divulging the actions that must constitute the party's priority through this year, the guidelines for the reinforcement of cohesion and unity within the party, the revival of the basis organisations of the political actions committee, such as political and ideological training of militants.

Speaking to press, Roberto de Almeida said that the act was held in Cunene province, due to the party's acknowledge, mainly of its President, José Eduardo dos Santos, because at the level of the country Cunene had the greatest number of votes at the 2012 general elections that enabled the victory of MPLA.
