Cameroon: Camrail Thieves Nabbed

The Special Public Security Police Station of the Railway in Douala has arrested four suspected bandits who stole some important materials from the Magazine of the Cameroon Railway Corporation at its Bassa base.

They were taken into custody on Wednesday after a Police operation organised by that Police unit at Bonankouamouang. The four suspects, Ervice Mbafack, Bismarck Melime Kinteum, Felix Bofan and Hubert Joel Kibani were arrested after the Special Public Security Police Station of the Railway at Bessengue carried out a raid at the second hand spare parts market known as Case Bonakouamouang. The four suspects were caught with an important stock of metallic zinc sheets stolen from the warehouse of the Cameroon Railway Corporation at Bassa. They had branded the material for sale. The four suspects and their booties were taken to that Police Station at Bessengue for further investigations.
