Angola: Municipal Stadium of Tafe Reopened for Official Games

Cabinda — The Municipal Stadium of Tafe, which has benefited from rehabilitation works that lasted about two years, was reopened last Saturday to official matches.

In the opening ceremony, witnessed by the vice governor of Cabinda Province for political and social matters, Alberto Paca, the chairman of the provincial football association, Alberto Macaia, praised the importance of the infrastructure by saying "it is a notable gain" for the province aiming at the development of sport.

"I congratulate this province on this deed of the government which completely rehabilitated the sport infrastructure, and now it has international characteristics", he stressed.

Cabinda now has three stadiums with synthetic turf, namely Tafe, Chibodo and Nbuco Mabel, and one with natural turf, which is the international stadium of Chiazi.
