Tunisia: Nabil Maaloul Named National Coach

The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) on Saturday (February 16th) confirmed the appointment of former Esperance Tunis coach Nabil Maaloul to head up the national team, TAP reported. He succeeds Sami Trabelsi, who resigned after the elimination of the Carthage Eagles in the first round of the 2013 CAN.

The 50-year-old Maaloul signed a two-year deal. His first task is to prepare the team for the third round of the World Cup qualifiers, set for the end of March.
