Libya: Benghazi Security Official Escapes Assassination Attempt

A bomb was thrown at the car of a top Benghazi security official in front of his home on Friday (February 15th), Libya Herald reported. No one was injured.

Ahmed Al-Araq, a revolutionary commander during the 2011 revolt, reportedly received a number of threats on his mobile phone in recent days.
