The EGX 30 benchmark index declined 0.35 per cent to close at 5,695.62 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) increased 0.66 per cent, reaching 492.6 points. The overall EGX 100 index rose 0.34 per cent to hit 826.56 points.
