Egypt: WB Grants Egypt $6.7 Million to Enhance Water Resources Management

The World Bank's (WB) Board of Executive Directors approved on Sunday 17/2/2013 the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Trust Fund's grant worth $6.7 million to Egypt.

Speaking at the workshop on Sunday, Hartwig Schafer, World Bank Country Director for Djibouti, Egypt and Yemen, said that the Global Environment Facility Trust Fund would help improving water resources management in Egypt via boosting the government authorities' capabilities in the water sector.
